Hello, we are looking for a caravaning couple or a single person willing to stay in our van to help out in the schoolroom with our grade 2er.
We have had a few unexpected challenges this year when my partner fractured his spine in a helicopter accident. My son doesn’t deal well with change and generally requires a lot of structure in the classroom to keep him on track. This is not something I have been able to accomplish this term and I would love some help re-estabilishing routines and getting him back up to speed with his schoolwork.

Our property is a cattle property running breeders with most progeny turned off at weaning. Having said that we also have a whole menagerie of useless animals around the house – dogs that only herd chooks, chooks that don’t lay eggs, poddy calves that think they are human, a pig that thinks it’s a goat….
washing machine - no dryer other than the sun!
once a week on Thursdays delivered to the door.
It would be up to the volunteers how they feel most comfortable but we would love it if they shared meals with us.
10km bitumen followed by 70km good gravel road

Central QLD is ALWAYS sunny so long sleeved clothing is recommended. During the winter it can get very cold (below zero) but the winter does not normally last very long.
Jaxon is a child that requires a lot of encouragement to try new things. This trait is obvious both in the school room and at play; for example he has only just cultivated an interest in riding a bicycle this year (even though his friends have been riding motorbikes for years). Jaxon loves animals, rocks and fossils.
