We are a family of 5. We work 6 days a week on the cattle property and go to town on Sunday for Church and to buy groceries. We have a large veggie garden. Mum is the main home tutor with James helping to teach Daniel. We have two living areas joined by a deck. The guest bedroom is in the older section of the house. It is a large room with lots of ventilation, air con, wood fire place next to the room and is right beside the bathroom. The newer section of the house is the bedrooms of the family, we have our own bathroom in this area. During the day the children will use the bathroom but during the night the bathroom will be for the use of the volunteer. We are non-smokers and non drinkers. We like to attend church in town on Sunday. This is also when we do our grocery shopping. The children love to ride their motorbikes, we have cats and dogs. James does the farm work and hires men when he needs a hand for mustering, while I do the schooling and house work. We work together well as a team.

Bring your favourite snacks. We don't offer the children soft drinks or too many lollies. We try to eat healthy and have cold meat and salad on bread or wraps for lunch, dinner is meat and veggies and breakfast is usually cereal or egg on toast. The children have fruit for morning tea. If you have special dietary requirements please bring food with you. If you would like to join us for meals that is fine.

We have good gravel on the road. We have 2 river chanels to cross. We have had caravans cross the channels without any trouble. When the river flows we can be cut off from town for up to 10 days, but this has to be a big flood to do that. We can exit the property via a back entrance, but that is a long way around and adds an extra 100km to the trip to town.

Daniel loves his cat, he likes to cook meat on the BBQ and mow the lawn. He is very helpful in this regard. In his spare time he likes to research Minecraft and other you tube learning. Lauren loves to draw, write stories, make craft things and sew. She sometimes helps out in the kitchen to do some baking. She plays with her brother Jason and they build cubbies together. Jason loves to ride the motor bike, play games inside and outside, he loves having books read to him.
