I am currently a second year University student studying a double degree of Secondary Education and Visual Arts at Monash University. I have already been on two compulsory placements, one at Oakleigh Grammar, and another earlier this year at Wonthaggi Secondary College. This was part of a rural placement program, and the experience affirmed my desires for wanting to teach regionally once I graduate. I also previously worked at my local chinese school as an assistant teacher for two years, I occasionally volunteer Beverly Hills primary school and last year I spent a month volunteering teaching English to students at a primary school in rural Taiwan. I love teaching and travelling, and I would love to gain more experience teaching rurally in Australia. My specialisation is art and I love spending time with kids and making art and encouraging them to be creative. I can also speak German and Chinese and would be happy to teach them conversational skills in these languages if they are interested.
